Yugo’s research interests include understanding how coaching education and mental skills training can help optimize the youth sport experience. He is particularly interested in how we can teach elementary and middle school athletes life skills through sport in order to help them realize their full potential “on and off the field”. Haru’s research interests include understanding how elite athletes manage performance stress. He is particularly interested in how athletes can bring their maximum performance at critical moments. Haru is originally from Japan.
